Lisa: In 2006, I was looking to start a career while also growing my family. With my family roots in commercial real estate, it felt like the right fit to become a licensed REALTOR®. In the beginning, it was supplemental income and provided the flexibility to raise my kids, Colton and Lily.
However, as time went on, my view on real estate gradually began to shift. As I delved deeper into the industry, something remarkable happened. What began as a practical solution gradually transformed into a passionate pursuit. Building connections with my clients while working to grow my business was incredibly fulfilling and gave me something greater to strive for.
With each milestone I hit, I continued to set new goals for myself. One of them was to start my own real estate team. This was unfamiliar territory, with many learning curves. It was essential that anyone I brought onto my team conducted business with integrity, care and professionalism. I will never compromise on quality—it was harder than expected to find someone who shared my passionate, driven approach.
Thankfully, in 2020, my long-time friend, William, joined me in real estate. We share the same work ethic and passion, merging our personal with professional to create a dynamic, highly effective partnership in real estate. As single parents, we enjoy taking our kids on vacations together, going boating and taking an annual trip to Mexico.
Giving back to our community is a core value of our team. We are involved with Rotary, Duvall Planning Commission, Duvall Chamber of Commerce, and sponsor the Riverview Education Foundation. We also donate a portion of every sale to Children’s Miracle Network, where I have been a Miracle Agent since 2017.
Will: It was a transitional period in my life—after spending years establishing my career as a lab manager helping build labs in new hospitals, COVID-19 led to company layoffs. As a single father with three kids, Reese, Chloe and Braden, I used this time to be with them.
My kids will always be my greatest source of motivation. In 2013, my son was born, and I also adopted his mother’s two daughters. Suddenly, as a single father of three, my focus was on providing the best life possible for them. My career in lab management demanded frequent travel. The work was great, and it provided stability, but I didn’t like being away from my kids.<
After the COVID layoffs, I worked a few different jobs, not stressed, and enjoying the change of pace. It was during this period that my close friend since high school, Lisa, was asking for my advice on how to build her real estate team. She had a clear vision and wanted to ensure anyone she worked with shared her values and professional approach. Then, suddenly, it hit me: Why don’t I join her in real estate?
We worked as fast as we could, and within a month, I received my license, and we got to work. Initially, I viewed real estate as simply a way for me to help my friend and earn a living. But when I experienced my first closing, it all came together for me. The satisfaction of seeing my client achieve their goal after all the hard work we put into making it happen was unlike anything I had experienced. From then on, I was hooked!
As a team, our priority is to cultivate lasting relationships with our clients. We always advise our clients to make decisions that align with their best interests, even if that means passing on a deal. Our integrity is something we will never compromise on. Through collaboration and a shared commitment to excellence, we get results for our clients and create an enjoyable experience along the way!
